Meet Brent

I have been an animal lover my entire life. As a person with autism, I have limited and passionate interests. When I was young, I had hundreds of stuffed animals and plastic animal toys that I played with daily. As a teenager, I volunteered at the Denver Zoo for 4 years and also attended sleepover camps at SeaWorld. After high school, I participated in the Zoo Keeping Technology Program at PPCC, but it wasn’t a good fit for me. As an adult, I have volunteered at many humane societies, mostly working with cats. 

For my entire life, I have loved going to zoos and animal parks. In fact, I have visited more than 30 in the United States and also had amazing animal adventures in both Australia and Africa. I love reading animal books and watching animal documentaries. When Animal Planet first came on the air (I was 10 years old), I would watch it all day long if I had the chance. Steve Irwin was my childhood hero. Unfortunately, I never got to meet him, but I did meet 3 other awesome animal experts, Jeff Corwin, Jack Hanna, and Jane Goodall. 

As you can see, I am very passionate about animals and I love spending time with them. Which is why I started Pets Pizzazz. I love making Snuffle Mats and Catnip Knots and running my own business.
